The Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) at UCR facilitates the development, protection and commercialization of UCR's campus research and intellectual property. The OTC assists in the invention disclosure process of UCR's innovative technologies and the legal protection of researcher's developed intellectual property.
The OTC furthers the University’s mission by making UCR’s research available for the public’s use and benefit. The OTC team works with campus stakeholders and industry partners to promote research, development, collaboration, and commercialization of our inventions through licensing. The goal being to bring UCR innovations to the marketplace for economic development and benefit to society.
Technology commercialization is a “contact sport” and building relationships between the OTC and faculty, staff, students, industry, and other stakeholders significantly increase the opportunities for success. Help the OTC help you!
